Come together for a ‘talk’ and celebrate life together with locals and guests - we cordially invite you and your companions to do so. Breakfast, Coffe or tea in the afternoon, après-ski, or a nightcap at the bar - our Ratschkathl village bar is THE meeting place for warm conviviality & hospitality. True to the motto: ‘People come together when they talk!’

Beer host of the year 2020

True beer culture is lived at the Ratschkathl, as the Austrian pub guide attested, and together with Stiegl named us Tyrolean Beer Host of the Year 2020. The prize for the cultivation of beer culture is awarded to restaurateurs who are particularly committed to the cultural drink. We say ‘thank you’ and invite you to join us in raising a glass to this fantastic award.
Farmers' market

The Ratschkathl parlour becomes a farmers' market. Every Thursday (in February, March, July-September and December) from 4 to 7 pm you can buy specialities and products from local producers at ‘farm gate prices’: Tyrolean fruit bread, mountain siter and grey cheese from the Erlebnis Sennerei, fine brandies made from masterwort, apricot and sloe, the good red from the Mantler family winery, apple-quince jam with Swiss stone pine oil, lambskin patches and skins, mountain apple juice and Tyrolean bacon.
After Hike & Après-Ski

In summer and winter alike, the Raschkathl is the place to meet after a wonderful day of hiking or skiing, right at the end of the valley descent to Tux-Lanersbach! Here our bar guests ‘process’ the impressions of a great day on the mountain with good music and entertainment. You are also welcome to tell your mountain stories and get to know our famous Johannisbeere from the ‘loud’ glasses!

The meeting point
in our chalet-village

The day starts with a hearty breakfast, served into your hut or from the buffet in our Bar & Restaurnt “Ratschkathl”. In the afternoon from 3.00 p.m. it's time to ‘Stop off at the tyrolean beer host of the year 2020’! The indoor- and outdoor bar of the ‘Ratschkathl’ will open. There we serve a wide range of wines by the glass, seasonal beer specialities, local spirits and, of course, popular long drinks.

In the winter months, Stefan & Stefan serve classic après-ski drinks and oven-fresh snacks with good music from 3.00 pm to round off a day's skiing in style. Later, “when the air gets darker,” you can meet up again for a nightcap at the cosy bar.

In the summer months, you can order cakes or strudel. And the classic Kaiserschmarrn and our oven-fresh snack dishes are also on the daily menu.
